One of the UK’s most respected producers, DJ Q has been releasing music since the early 2000s, releasing club tracks that span bassline, garage, grime and more. Along with artists like T2 and Paleface he was a key part of northern England’s bassline movement, and was behind one of the scene’s biggest hits in ‘You Wot?’

In recent years he’s settled on Local Action, releasing regular singles and his debut album Ineffable – a modern UK pop record that draws from the country’s legacy of breakbeats, 2-step garage, Soul II Soul and more, as well as r’n’b and French house.

You can currently catch Q playing every festival under the sun with TQD, his bass-house supergroup with Royal-T and Flava D.
