The label has hosted events at venues like Fabric and Corsica Studios, curated three Boiler Room broadcasts and is regularly featured on radio stations such as BBC Radio 1/1Xtra, 6 Music, NTS, Rinse FM and Beats 1.
We’ve licensed music to larger labels like Universal and Defected, our artists have soundtracked adverts for brands such as Supreme, and we have several releases with play counts of 2 million+ on Spotify.
Local Action has been picked as a label of the year by Noisey, Juno, Thump, Mixmag, Clash and other publications, and been praised in Pitchfork, Spin, Fader, The Guardian, Dazed & Confused and more. Its third release, T. Williams' 'Heartbeat', was iTunes' #3 Dance Track of 2010, and it's been nominated for Best Small Label at the AIM Awards twice (2016 and 2017) and on various occasions for the DJ Mag Awards.
